But here is the good news. There is SR&ED. This gives the eligible companies and businesses get back what they spend. It is something similar with refunds.

As a matter of fact, decades ago, because of SR&ED, businesses in Canada are able to get an average of $4 billion refunds and tax credits. To be eligible to this, the business must be a small to medium-sized one and has facilities and processes to improve that requires them fund and capital. This refund helped those businesses a lot in improving their existing systems and processes. And because of this improvement, they are able to make technical repairs and developments and make their respective businesses bloom.
